He completed his internship at Maimonides Medical Center/Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY and residency at St. Vincent's Hospital & Medical Center in New York, NY. He then completed fellowship training at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, in New York, NY in Cytopathology. Dr. Smilari is board certified and has been on staff since 1998.
