Dr. Anand K. Ganesan is a board-certified UCI Health dermatologist who specializes in skin cancer and skin pigmentation disorders, including vitiligo, melasma and albinism.
He earned his medical degree at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, where he also received a doctoral degree in microbiology and molecular genetics. He completed an internal medicine internship at St. Mary Medical Center in Long Beach, Calif., followed by a residency in dermatology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas.

His work spans the spectrum from basic laboratory studies to clinical trials as he seeks to develop novel approaches to diagnosing and treating disease.
