Omar F. Khatib, MD, received his medical degree from University of Jordan School of Medicine. He completed an internal medicine internship and residency at Cleveland Clinic. He completed a cardiology fellowship at Ochsner Clinic and an interventional cardiology fellowship at Indiana University.
He has served as an assistant professor of medicine and as an interventional cardiologist at University of Jordan School of Medicine. He also has previously worked at Rodebush VA Medical Center and Indiana University School of Medicine.
He has a special interest in cardiology, interventional cardiology, coronary heart disease, and peripheral vascular disease.
In his spare time, he enjoys running, reading, learning new languages, gardening and farming.
