- PSYCHIATRIC EVALUATION:
Your 60-90 minute evaluation will include a general screening of mood and anxiety disorders with a patient-centered treatment plan by the end of the visit. This may result in a prescription for psychotropic medication and/or a psychotherapy plan/referral.
- COUPLES/MARITAL COUNSELING
Working with patients sometimes involves family work. Clear boundaries and goals are needed to provide optimal outcomes. With selected cases, Dr. M can be a short-term resource to work through family conflict.
- PSYCHOPHARMACOLOGY
As a MEDICAL DOCTOR, I have studied the body and brain extensively. This includes cadaver work in my early training and hospital rotations with physical patients. A PSYCHIATRIST is the gold standard for medications affecting the brain. I work closely with local pharmacies to provide seamless continuity of medication of management.
- INDIVIDUAL PSYCHOTHERAPY
Dr. Morairty completed a 1-year psychodynamic psychotherapy fellowship while at the University of Michigan. He also formally trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) through an Anxiety Disorders clinic. He has experience with Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).
- GROUP HOME and SNF/ALF CONSULTATIONS
Dr. Morairty believes in the value of population health care. A consultation model can provide more comprehensive guidance to organizations.
