While he worked with Dr. Nezhat, Dr. Andrew de Fazio co-authored several chapters in textbooks on advanced laparoscopic and hysteroscopic techniques. He co-authored several research papers on advanced laparoscopic surgery, pelvic pain and endometriosis that were accepted for publication in various, reputable, American medical journals. A Diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology, Dr. Andrew de Fazio is a Phi Beta Kappa, Magna Cum Laude graduate of Holy Cross College in Massachusetts. He received his Doctorate in Medicine from SUNY Stonybrook and completed his Residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Winthrop University Hospital in Mineola, New York. He then completed a Fellowship in Minimally Invasive and Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery under Dr. Ceana Nezhat at Northside Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia.While he worked with Dr. Nezhat, Dr. Andrew de Fazio co-authored several chapters in textbooks on advanced laparoscopic and hysteroscopic techniques.
