Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare: I took an anatomy and physiology class in high school, which sparked my love for medicine! I jumped into the wonderful world of nursing as an intensive care nurse. I felt I needed to do more to help them, so I went back to school and became a nurse practitioner. I feel that as a nurse practitioner I can combine my love of learning and eagerness to teach, so that I can help others! What I want my patients to know about me: I love meeting new people and getting to know them on a personal level.
