Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare: I've had a love of medicine and the art of caring since childhood. My career aspiration to be an NP was solidified while participating on a medical mission trip during high school. I began my nursing career as an ER/trauma nurse followed by exploring the country as a travel nurse. The role of the nurse practitioner allows me to blend the nursing approach and art of compassion with the autonomy and science of medical practice. What I want my patients to know about me: It's a privilege to provide care for individuals and families in some of their most vulnerable times.
