Todd Kolb
Dr. Kolb is a specialist in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine with special focus on pulmonary vascular disease and Critical Care Medicine. He is an expert in the diagnosis and management of all forms of chronic pulmonary hypertension, and has special interests in the chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension, peri-operative and ICU management of pulmonary hypertension. He is an expert in the management of acute pulmonary embolism, leads the Johns Hopkins Pulmonary Embolism Response Team, and provides longitudinal ambulatory follow-up for patients after acute pulmonary embolism. He has extensive experience in the diagnosis and management of all forms of acute respiratory failure and other life-threatening conditions such as shock, gastrointestinal bleeding, pulmonary embolism, diabetic ketoacidosis and hyperosmolar states, and acute kidney and liver failure.
