Prenatal care- Regular visits to the doctor's office are important for a healthy pregnancy. Blood tests, urine tests, fetal heart rate monitoring and other routine screenings will be performed. Screening for fetal chromosomal abnormalities is offered. Arrangements for ultrasounds evaluation of the baby are done at antenatal testing units of affiliated hospitals.
Postpartum Care- A new addition to the family can be an exciting time, yet it is important for mom's physical and emotional needs to be addressed. Concerns and questions will be addressed in the post-partum ward and detailed discharge instructions will be given.
Delivery Including Cesarean Section-Safe delivery for both mom and baby is of utmost importance and our top priority. Dr. Stemmer will discuss with you delivery options throughout the pregnancy. Pain management throughout the delivery process will also be discussed during your visits.
High-Risk Pregnancy Care- While most pregnancies are uncomplicated, some may be considered high-risk due to gestational diabetes, pre-eclampsia, advanced maternal age, or other medical conditions. We not only assess you for these risks, but also coordinate with a perinatalogist (high-risk obstetrics doctor) to provide optimal care throughout your pregnancy.
