Daniel Motola, M.D., Ph.D. is a board-certified gastroenterologist, transplant hepatologist, and Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at NYU Langone Medical Center.
He received his B.S. in Biology and Neuroscience from Brandeis University where he graduated magna cum laude. He earned medical and fellowship training from UT Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas, The Mt. Sinai Hospital of New York, and Harvard University-affiliated Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. Motola is also distinguished by having earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) at the prestigious graduate school of UTSW Medical Center, which is home to 6 Nobel laureates. His doctoral work has led to ground breaking discoveries in the fight against intestinal parasites.
