She earned her Doctorate of Medicine with Clinical Honors from the Ponce School of Medicine. Dr Harkins completed both her Internal Medicine residency and her Gastroenterology and Advanced Endoscopy Fellowships at the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL. She has special training in Advanced Endoscopy techniques as well as ERCP, Tumor Ablation and High-Resolution Manometry.
