Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare: I actually kind of happened upon it. While I was attending Gannon University, I studied with the OB/GYN practice here with Carrie Galanis. She was friends with Dr Dunklebarger in ENT & Hearing and introduced me to the practice. I really liked the atmosphere and I enjoy that there's so much more involved than just ear, nose, and throat. What I want my patients to know about me: I'm originally from Freeport, Pa., but I did part of my studies here in Franklin County and really liked the area. It feels a lot like home. The positive atmosphere at the practice and mutual respect from patients made it an easy choice to return.
