Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare: I have always felt called to a career in medicine for as long as I can remember. I desired a profession that would be challenging, exciting, and helpful to others - something that would positively impact my community and fulfill my desire to learn and grow. Practicing medicine allows me to be a provider, educator, colleague, friend, and more; but most importantly, it allows me to serve and love the people I encounter every day. What I want my patients to know about me: Patients should expect a personal relationship in the context of their care when they come to visit me. I enjoy getting to know the patients I care for as regular people.
