Jyothika Mamadgi
Dr. Jyothika Mamadgi is a specialist in both hematology and oncology and treats a wide variety of cancers and blood related disorders. She has a keen interest in breast, lung, colorectal, and genitourinary cancers, as well as lymphomas. She has expertise in using the newer available modalities in cancer care like immunotherapy and targeted therapy along with conventional chemotherapy. Dr. Mamadgi believes in treating each patient as a whole, not just treating the cancer. Her goal is to achieve the best possible results while helping the patient maintain a good quality of life. Dr. Mamadgi was trained in India at Mahadevappa Rampure Medical College, where she received her medical degree. She then completed her residency in internal medicine at University of Alabama School of Medicine at Birmingham, Huntsville, Alabama. She served her program for an additional year as the chief resident before heading on to pursue a Fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at Allegheny Health Network in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
