Dr. Kiproff is the associate director of the Allegheny Health Network Imaging Institute’s Division of Interventional Radiology and associate director of the Interventional Radiology Residency Program. He received his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College, Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and then completed a diagnostic radiology residency at Allegheny General Hospital and a vascular and interventional radiology fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh.
Dr. Kiproff has lectured and written extensively on topics involving minimally invasive procedures. He has extensive experience in the use of angioplasty and stenting for treatment of claudication and leg pain secondary to peripheral vascular disease. His other interest includes the minimally invasive treatment of uterine fibroids, testicular varicoceles, and liver cancer. He sees patients at Forbes, West Penn, and Allegheny General hospitals.
Selected as the outstanding young health care professional by the Pittsburgh Jay-Cees in 1992. Dr. Kiproff has been named a U.S. News Top Doctor (Castle Connolly Medical Ltd.) from 2011 to 2021 and was on the list of the Best Doctors in America from 2009 to 2021.
