Dr. Dupré graduated with honors from The University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Neurobiology before attending medical school at Texas Tech University. He then moved to Pittsburgh to complete a seven-year residency in neurosurgery, as well as a fellowship in stereotactic and functional neurosurgery at Allegheny General Hospital. He is involved in cutting-edge research on various topics ranging from spine biomechanics to neural circuitry and microbiological imaging procedures.
As the northern regional director of the Allegheny Health Network (AHN) Neuroscience Institute, Dr. Dupré is part of an innovative program of leading medical experts who offer advanced care to patients with the most complex neurological disorders.
