Dr. Amanda Roten is a board-certified child and adolescent psychiatrist and assistant professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Medical University of South Carolina. She received her medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine and completed her internship, residency, and child and adolescent fellowship at the Medical University of South Carolina. Following training, Dr. Roten worked at the South Carolina Department of Mental Health where she was involved in the telepsychiatry program. Within child and adolescent psychiatry, she has a wide range of interests and enjoys working with a variety of psychiatric disorders including ADHD, mood disorders, and anxiety disorders.
