Dr. William A. Blincoe earned his undergraduate degree from Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois. He received his medical degree from the University of Kansas and completed his residency in cardiology at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas and the Emory University School of Medicine, where he also completed his cardiology fellowship. Dr. Blincoe currently serves as the chairman of the Piedmont Healthcare Board of Directors and was the former chairman of the Board for Piedmont Hospital. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the Society for Cardiac Angiography and Interventions. He is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology and specializes in cardiovascular disease, interventional cardiology and peripheral vascular disease.
