Dr. Tak Kwan is the founder of Chinatown Cardiology P.C. and has been a prominent figure in the Chinese community for over 20 years. He previously served as the President of the Chinese American Medical Society. For his continuous contribution to the community through generous donations and charitable services, he was awarded the prestigious Ellis Island Medal of Honor in 2010. Dr. Kwan earned his Medical Degree at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, which is also where he completed his Internal Medicine residency and Cardiovascular Disease fellowship. Subsequently, he did an advanced fellowship in Interventional Cardiology at Wichita Heart Center, Kansas.
