After completing his Internal Medicine residency at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in 2011, Dr Ahmed took a position as an associate professor of medicine and hospitalist at Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center. Dr Ahmed has also worked as a hospitalist at Memorial Hermann-Memorial City Medical Center before joining Kelsey-Seybold. Dr Ahmed is a member of the American Medical Association and the American College of Physicians. Dr Ahmed enjoys running and spending time with family. Dr Ahmed's favorite musical group is Van Halen.
