I consider clinical dermatology to be fun and rewarding. The privilege of talking and interacting with patients is by far the best part of the field.
I am a general dermatologist interested in a broad range of dermatology but with expertise in treatment of skin cancers including MOHS surgery. For more than 20 years, MOHS for me has been a gratifying surgical technique to remove skin cancer in crucial cosmetic areas with high likelihood of cure. My background first in internal medicine and then dermatology trigged an interest in how underlying disease can manifest in the skin. Since their introduction, I have prescribed biologics for treatment of psoriasis and related rheumatologic disease.
