Jeffrey S. Browne, MD, FACS, completed his medical degree and residency at Indiana University. He began his career as an acute care surgeon before transitioning to elective general surgery. Dr. Browne has been a dedicated surgeon educator, winning the 2016 Student Educator of the Year, 2017 Resident Educator of the Year, and 2019 Indiana University Trustees Teaching Awards while a faculty member at Indiana University School of Medicine.
Dr. Browne specializes in gallbladder surgery, hernia surgery and emergency general surgery.
In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family hiking and traveling, taking frequent trips to destinations around the country in their motorhome. In his personal down time, he’s a dedicated woodworker and enjoys playing fingerstyle guitar.
