What I Do I am an adult-gerontology primary care nurse practitioner. My clinical interests include inflammatory bowel disease, inflammatory bowel syndrome, and gastroesophageal reflux disease. My approach to care is the recognition that all people are different and have different needs related to their physical, social, psychological and spiritual wellbeing. Why I Love My Work My motivation for going into health care was the desire to help people to the best of my ability. Gastroenterology is fascinating because it involves numerous organs that collectively work together to sustain our bodies. With this, there are many complex diseases and diagnoses that can arise that typically need to be managed lifelong.
