Rosendo Collazo
Rosendo Collazo, D.O., is an internal medicine physician with Baptist Health Primary Care, a part of Baptist Health Medical Group, an organization of more than 180 physicians in multiple specialties closely aligned with Baptist Health South Florida. He is a clinical assistant professor of medicine at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and at Florida International University's Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine. His specific interests include chronic disease management of diabetes and cardiovascular diseases. Dr. Collazo received the Blue Foundation Sapphire Award for excellence in healthcare for the underserved, the Jessie Trice Heroes Award and the Outstanding Service Local Hero Award from the Healthcare for the Homeless Clinicians Network, and was a finalist for the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce's Health Care Heroes Award.
