Dr. Joseph Carlson joined The Bone & Joint Center in 1995. He is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with an emphasis on knee and shoulder treatment.
A native of Minot, North Dakota, Dr. Carlson received an undergraduate degree from the University of North Dakota. After receiving his medical training at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine, Dr. Carlson completed residency in orthopaedic surgery at Akron General Medical Center in Ohio.
Dr. Carlson specializes in video arthroscopy, joint replacement, ligament reconstruction, and sport-related injuries. He has special interests in surgery of the knee and shoulder.
Dr. Carlson is a member of the Arthroscopy Association of North America and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
