Dr Nivedh Paluvoi completed his undergraduate and medical school education at Howard University in a combined 6 year BS/MD program. During his time at Howard, he was the recipient of the Founder's Scholarship and graduated magna cum laude with a major in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. As a medical student, he served as Vice President of Student Affairs and received the LaSalle D Leffall Jr. MD award in surgery in his fourth year. He went on to do his general surgery residency at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center in Boston, MA. He was the recipient of numerous teaching awards from Tufts University School of Medicine as well as the recipient of awards in leadership, research, and compassionate care.
