Victor Hugo Hernandez, MD, MSc is the chief of Joint and Adult Joint Reconstruction at the University of Miami Health System. He is also a clinical Professor with the Department of Orthopaedics at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. Originally from Colombia, Dr Hernandez graduated from the Universidad del Norte, Colombia. He has extensive training in hip and knee joint reconstruction, including anterior hip approach, muscle-sparing techniques, bilateral simultaneous knee replacement and complex revision, as well as patella-femoral and uni-compartmental arthoplasty, robotics, wearable devices and augmented reality.
