Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare: While living in North Carolina, I learned of the Physician Assistant (PA) profession. I received medical care by Air Force PAs and also civilian PAs who practiced in primary and specialty care. I was impressed with the PA's wealth of knowledge, communication skills and accessibility to name a few. PAs can practice in all medical specialties throughout one's lifespan. After earning my Bachelor of Science degree, I moved home to Pennsylvania and went on to earn my Master's Degree in Health Science/Physician Assistant Studies. In May 2021, I earned my Doctor of Medical Science degree. What I want my patients to know about me: I've been working with WellSpan for over two decades.
