Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare: I have always wanted to be in a career where I can make a difference in someone's life. I love the idea of family medicine. I get to see everyone in the same family from newborn babies to their grandparents and great grandparents. Counseling, preventative medicine and women's health are my passions. I get excited when patients want to participate in their own care and I can help them so that we can make healthcare decisions together. What I want my patients to know about me: I am a DO (Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine). I went to medical school for the same amount of time as my MD colleagues but I also learned OMT/osteopathic manipulation.
