Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare: At the end of the day, we all want to feel that we made a difference. I always felt that medicine was that pathway for me. Medicine certainly gives us the chance to celebrate recovery and successes, while at the same time being forced to recognize our limitations. Medicine is a humbling occupation. What I want my patients to know about me: I love to laugh. Make me smile! I enjoy a challenge. What I do when I'm not seeing patients: I love activity. Outdoors is the best, especially triathlons, long-distance biking and swimming.
