Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare: I was always interested in science, and I studied Biochemistry at Penn State with the plan to become a research scientist. After spending several summers working in labs, I decided that I would be much happier working with people. Medical school was a great experience for me - I loved learning about the human body and definitely made the right decision. What I want my patients to know about me: I understand that visiting a gynecologist can cause anxiety and that my patients are frequently very nervous. My hope is that my office staff will make my patients feel comfortable and that the visit will be minimally stressful.
