Deciding to work with a dietitian can be an intimidating step. Changing both our mindset around food and our food behaviors is no small feat, and for most it can be incredibly challenging work. That is where I come in to support you. I make sure to bring compassion and empathy to my sessions, as I know how emotional, yet crucial, diving into our personal food journey can be. I take time to listen and learn about you, to create an individualized approach towards making sustainable nutrition goals unique to you.
I incorporate the principles of Intuitive Eating, including encouraging body trust, finding unconditional permission to eat, and making peace with food. As both a Registered Dietitian and a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor, I am passionate about using science-based recommendations along with cultivating confidence in yourself to make the best choices for your body and mind. I practice with a Health at Every Size (HAES) lens, knowing that all body sizes are capable and worthy of having a peaceful relationship with food.
Living in diet culture, we are ingrained from a young age to believe that our health and value lay within a certain body type and size, and we are pressured to live in constant pursuit of unattainable beauty standards. We are conditioned to believe that our body is the problem (not the culture) something that needs constant fixing, creating a life that can be consumed with stress around food choices and body dissatisfaction. I help my clients identify harmful patterns and build confidence towards making informed, nourishing and satisfying food choices. Whether you have struggled with years of chronic dieting, confusion around how to eat, or are healing from disordered eating or an eating disorder, I am here to help you navigate the path towards making peace with food and finding a happy, healthy food-life balance.

ServicesExperience nutrition counseling in the comfort of your home as virtual sessions make it easy and convenient. I am currently accepting clients all over California.
Your sessions will start with a 60 minute initial assessment where I get to know more about you and how I can help. We will take a deep dive into your history to better understand what has influenced your current relationship to food and explore current eating patterns and behaviors to see where changes may be helpful.
Follow up sessions are typically weekly and will consist of looking at your goals from the previous session. I provide nutrition education along with tools and interventions that will help you meet your goals successfully.
For clients in recovery from an eating disorder, I work as part of a treatment team in collaboration with therapists, doctors, and family members. I provide meal plans and may require some clients to provide certain medical information when appropriate.
My goal is to get my clients to a place where they feel confident making food choices. I want all my clients to feel like food is no longer a cause of stress or anxiety, and truly begin to experience food freedom.Additional ServicesMindful eating, Intuitive eating, eating disorder recovery, disordered eating
