Heart disease is fascinating to me because of how it appears, develops, and responds to interventions. The context in which heart disease occurs should always inform decisions about how we diagnose and treat our patients. I do my best to try to understand not only a person's illness but the lives it is affecting. This approach, in my view, allows for the best decision-making and outcomes.
