I find it rewarding to help patient live as full a life as possible without their medical condition being an obstacle to them. I enjoy being able to help people improve their physical health, with minimal side effects, cost and stress with their disease. This allows the patient to get back to feeling better and doing what they want to do. I practice evidence-based medicine, using the latest research and up-to-date thinking to guide care of my patients. I enjoy providing the educational information patients need about their condition and treatment options for their allergies. The patient must understand their condition and the rationale behind their treatment to make the right decision for them about their care. I try to keep patients informed about their options so they can participate in making their own decisions. I am an advocate of a team approach. Taking care of patients is a group effort — the patient and/or the caregivers and the healthcare provider must all be together in the decision making process. Patient outcomes will only be successful if everyone is in agreement about the treatment and care needed.
