I am a board-certified colon and rectal surgeon whose sole focus is the prevention and treatment of diseases of the colon, rectum, and anus. I serve as the chief of the Division of Colon and Rectal Surgery, and I am very proud of our team. Clinically, I am particularly interested in complex pelvic surgery and the minimally-invasive treatment of these diseases by using technology such as laparoscopy and robotics. I have a research interest on the effects of our treatments on patients’ quality of life and bowel function.
Division of Colon and Rectal Surgery Vision: We provide the highest quality care for the colorectal patient and educate the residents and medical students in the fundamentals of colon and rectal surgery.
