He did general pediatric training at Louisianan State University Health Sciences Center, Shreveport and Gastrointestinal training at Riley Children?s Hospital, Indiana University, Indianapolis. Dr. Ammar has served children with gastrointestinal problems in the states of Michigan and Illinois and most recently in East Tennessee. Dr. Ammar is an American board certified gastroenterologist with 15 years experience.
Dr. Ammar is married and has four beautiful children. Outside work, Dr. Ammar enjoys biking, listening to country music and building friendships with people of different background and cultures.
