I was seen on 2/8/18 at Unity hospital for chest pain, severe dizziness, and change in vision. Dr.Runge was the worst doctor I have ever delt with. He ran blood work and a chest xray for the chest pain and said that came back fine. When I asked why the dizziness and change of vision aren't being addressed he told me" I'm only here for the more serious things, like your heart. Your head is fine!" I said how do you know that's fine when you've done nothing to examine that. He said I was being discharged and walked out. So fast forward to 2 days later. I ended up in immediate care for the dizziness because it was just getting worse. Luckily that doctor had a brain and told me I have vertigo and that should have been addressed 2 days prior. Now I have appts lined up with other physicians to figure out the chest pain because I'm still in pain. It could have been taken care of almost a week ago if I wasn't brushed off like my symptoms were nothing. As far as the nurse(I can't remember her name),she was just as rude. Asked if my pain had gone away After a dose of Advil and i said no and she proceeded to do nothing. Not even tell the doctor. My mother polity asked if there was any updates(at this point we had been waiting 4 hours after blood work and xray). She told my mother with an attitude " when he finds out something he will be in!). My room was adjacent from the nursing station where the computers are. And for over 2 hours I watched him sit there ! I'm very disappointed in this doctor and nurse. God for bid I had been having a heart attack or stroke I would have been in serious trouble because they treated me as if nothing was wrong. I'm hoping this review catches the eye of someone bigger at Unity Hospital.
