Dr. Guzman is Board Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, he is also specializes in Gynecology. He graduated from Michigan State University - College of Human Medicine in East Lansing, Michigan in 1998. He completed both his internship in General Medicine (PGY-1) and Family Practice Residency at the University Of Vermont College Of Medicine - Fletcher Allen Hospital in Burlington Vermont in 2001. He completed Obstetrics/Gynecology (PGY-1) training at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan in 2002, followed by Residency in Obstetrics/Gynecology at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey - Robert Wood Johnson Medical School at Camden Cooper University Hospital in 2005. He has a specialized interest in Women's Health including menopause, incontinence and contraception (iud/nexplanon). Dr. Guzman has received several awards including Scholastic Winner selected to attend the Academy of Family Practice Preventative Medicine Conference in 1999, Family Practice Clerkship Honors in 1996, a Finalist in the Fellowship Program in Academic Medicine / National Medical Fellowship in 1994 and NIH Research Traineeship, Biomedical Research Program in 1994.
