Dr. Madani has been practicing Medical Oncology and Hematology in Tucson since 2007. He has over 20 years experience in caring for patients with cancer and hematological illnesses.
Dr. Madani has received extensive medical training in both France and the United States. He completed a residency in internal medicine at Michigan State, and a subspecialty fellowship in medical oncology and hematology at Indiana University. Before transplanting to the United States, Dr. Madani trained in medicine at University Hospitals of Paris France where he was heavily involved in Clinical Research through Clinical Trials, Basic Sciences and Translational -- garnering himself a PhD in Molecular Biology of Cancer at the University of Paris in France. His research has been widely published in various journals including The Annals of Oncology, The American Journal of Clinical Oncology, Blood, and The American Society of Clinical Oncology Proceedings.
Among Dr. Madani's many honors and achievements is his First Rank Scholarship throughout his Medical Specialty Training in Paris, France; and being named the recipient of The 2003 Merit Award from the American Society of Clinical Oncology. He is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) and the American Society of Hematology (ASH). He also serves on the board of directors of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, and holds particular interest in Breast Cancer Survivorship and Care for the Cure.
