Dr Willard received her bachelor’s degree in human genetics from the University of Kansas, where she also received her medical degree. She completed her general surgery residency at the University of Illinois Metro Group Hospitals in Chicago and her trauma surgery critical care fellowship at the University of Tennessee Medical Center.
