What makes the home really special, however, are the caregivers. Dianne, the Resident Manager ran her own home for 12 years in Montana. She is also an exceptional cook, as she ran her own Bed and Breakfast for 4 years. You will never be hungry. You will not find more compassionate, loving caregivers anywhere on earth. Our caregivers have over 65 years of experience caring for the elderly and disabled.
The home is situated in a small farming community of Sublimity, just 13 miles east of Salem and the farmer's fields are just 60 feet away. Much of the produce we use at the home is either grown in the garden or on the family farm just three miles from the home.
Sublimity was recently voted as the best place in Oregon to raise a family.
The area around the home is very peaceful and quiet. We encourage our residents to get involved in any part of the operation of the home that may interest them. Our goal is to bring some "Gold back into the Golden Years" of our residents.

Marcey's Place
Marcey's Place is a new Senior Adult Foster Care Home that has just opened in the Sublimity/Stayton area. The home was started as a legacy to my mother. This is a one of a kind home. I guarantee that you will not find a nicer Adult Care home in the Santiam Canyon. There are 5 resident bedrooms on the ground floor. The rooms are furnished with many antiques that add to the charm of the home. There is a wrap around front porch and a wrap around back porch that is covered with a removeable awning. The back yard is what I imagine the Garden of Eden looked like. We have raised bed gardens for vegetables and have strawberries, blueberries and rhubarb growing in our flower beds.What makes the home really special, however, are the caregivers.
