Open Arms With Love
Open Arms With Love is located in the central are of Brevard County in a quiet residential neighborhood. Easy access from I-95 and highway U.S. 1. In August 2005, we were licensed in Port St. John/Cocoa area, and relocated in 2012 to the current location. It is a family operation of licensed nurses, certified nurse’s aides and a certified massage therapist. Together we have over 30 years of healthcare experience in geriatric care. Our facility is less than thirty minutes to all of the hospitals located in Brevard County, less than five minutes to the closest. The facility is within three minutes of two fire stations. Major parks are within walking distance. Clients are taking care of and treated as family members. Several recommendations are available from past family members. Clients are always accompanied to doctor’s visits. Clients are never transported alone to emergency room, a staff has always accompanied them, and stays with them until either family members arrive or they are admitted/discharged. Our clients are able to stay in place as opposed to being hospitalized due to the skillful eyes of our trained staff, we communicate first with primary physicians, and if need be the clients are transported to their offices. Our healthy and nutritional meals are prepared in house. The ratio of clients is three to two staff members. An enclosed patio surrounded by beautiful flowers and fruit trees is an added feature for barbecues, and outdoor socializing. Gardening is an outdoor activity. Open Arms With Love is your alternative to nursing homes or the larger assisted living facilities. It is your “home away from home"
