Located in historic Norwich, Connecticut, Hamilton Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center accommodates 160 residents. We provide skilled and intermediate nursing services as well as physical, occupational, and speech therapy services. Hamilton offers a short-term rehabilitation program for those needing additional care after a hospitalization for optimal recovery before returning to the community. We also offer long-term care services including an Alzheimer’s Special Care unit for individuals affected with Alzheimer’s disease or related dementia. Our "Take a Break" program provides care and supervision for residents while their caregivers take care of themselves. The staff at Hamilton takes great pride in having served the Greater Norwich community for over 30 years.

We offer a full range of medical services to meet the individual needs of our residents, including short-term rehabilitative services and long-term skilled care. Working with the resident’s physician, our staff – including medical specialists, nurses, nutritionists, dietitians and social workers – establishes a comprehensive treatment plan intended to restore you or your loved one to the highest practicable potential.
