Carrington Place and the Cottages at Carrington Place is located on 4th Street in Pittsburg, KS. The Pittsburg area is in the southeast corner of Kansas and is often considered the “Gateway to the Ozarks” thanks to the landscape of rolling prairie filled with beautiful trees that change colors with each season. The Cottages at Carrington Place, independent living, is nestled on the same property as our assisted living community. The cottages are an ideal location for the more independent senior and may be decorated to suit your taste outside with plants and bird feeders for enjoyment.
Carrington Place has a highly tenured staff that is committed to giving our residents and families the hometown hospitality they deserve. We have activities personnel day and evening to help our residents enjoy a variety of projects to keep them smiling. Our licensed nurse and certified medication aides get to know our residents like family – with all of their unique needs and preferences – it’s like home.
Dining is such focal point of our resident’s day. At Carrington Place we have true restaurant style dining with made to order meals three times a day. We have a breakfast special every day that ranges from waffles to biscuits and gravy. We even our very own version of the "Egg McMuffin". Homemade bread is made daily and delivered with each lunch and dinner entrée. We can’t forget about dessert, your choice of fruit or the dessert of the day!
Our admission counseling services are comprehensive. Our administrator helps guide the family through all of the care options available to them as well as through the maze of paperwork involved to access private our public long-term care benefits. Making it easy on the family is priority one.
