Horizons Social Coaching, LLC provides Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services in small group and individual sessions to children, teens, and adults ages 8 and older.
Some of the skills we address: Conversation skills, listening skills, flexibility, making and maintaining friendships, solving interpersonal problems, perspective taking, how to compensate when a confusion moment occurs, tools to stay calm during frustration or anxiety moments, self-advocating, taking on new challenges, self-confidence, self evaluation for personal strengths and challenges, working memory, emotional self-regulation, planning and prioritizing activities, using backup plans, initiating and organizing long-term projects, developing leisure time interests and career interests, and learning how to be part of a group.
Clients may have a diagnosis of Autism, Asperger Syndrome (Asperger's), PDD-NOS, or related disorders; we also accept clients who have no diagnosis but struggle with some of the skills listed above.
ServicesSmall group social coaching sessions are one hour long, and include parent training for a portion of the session. Small social skills groups are limited to 4 children per group. Individual social coaching is also available for those seeking private sessions.
