Hearing Health Associates was established in Roanoke, VA in May 2000 as an independent audiology practice dedicated to providing quality hearing health care. Co-owners Douglas Cameron and Tammy Garber are doctors of audiology with over 50 years of combined experience. Through one-on-one consultation and diagnostic evaluation, our audiologists learn about each individual's concerns and needs. Appropriate solutions and rehabilitative measures are then applied to improve quality of life through better hearing. Drs. Cameron and Garber and staff pride themselves on their patient-centered approach to hearing care. Every staff member is committed to providing the most personalized service to each patient visiting their offices. Our second office was established in Charlottesville, VA in the Fall of 2014.
Dr. Garber is originally from Harrisonburg, VA. She received her bachelor's degree from James Madison University, her master's in audiology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and her doctorate in audiology from Salus University. In 1995, after practicing for several years in North Carolina, Dr. Garber relocated with her family to Roanoke. In Roanoke she continued her career at Lewis Gale Clinic and, in May 2000, established Hearing Health Associates along with Dr. Cameron. Dr. Garber relocated to with her husband and two daughters to the Charlottesville area in 2013 and opened the Charlottesville office in the Fall of 2014. She will see patients in the new office as well as in the Roanoke office.
