Dr. Bridget Holden believes that bariatric surgery gives hope and promise to those who suffer from obesity. An experienced general surgeon, Dr. Holden completed her general surgery residency at Baylor University Medical Center Dallas. Dr. Holden also completed her internship and chief surgical residency at Baylor. During her time there, Dr. Holden learned a great deal about both general and bariatric surgery procedures, and later practiced as a general surgeon for six years before joining us here at Kim Bariatric Institute.
Dr. Holden has logged thousands of hours in the operating room with Dr. David D. Kim, the founder and Medical Director of our practice, and has personally performed thousands of surgeries. She has used her time with Dr. Kim to great advantage, honing her techniques and working to duplicate the approach he has developed over many years of practicing bariatric surgery, including procedures such as the Kim Inverted Gastric Sleeve. Under Dr. Kim’s meticulous direction, training, and supervision, Dr. Holden has shown herself to be a skilled practitioner and valued member of the KBI bariatric surgery team.
