Kindred Hospital Rome is a transitional care hospital providing specialized long-term acute care to medically complex patients requiring continued care and extended recovery time. They are located on the campus of Floyd Medical Center in Rome, Georgia. Our 45-bed all private room hospital includes a 12-bed unit for our critical care patients staffed with experienced ACLS nurses and respiratory therapists. Their services have been designed to care for medically complex patients suffering from multi-system failures, including respiratory failure with ventilator dependence, post surgical complications, and wound management.Since 2000, they have prided ourselves on our excellent outcomes in ventilator weaning, wound healing and patient satisfaction. Kindred Hospital Rome did a great job. I love the wound care team, Penny my nurse and Santesha my aid. The food was great, I have never eaten so much. Everyone is also fun.
