Marcie is a Licensed Acupuncturist and Certified Nutritional Consultant. She earned her BA from Elmira College, graduating Magna Cum Laude, after which she worked for many years in the mental health field and pharmaceutical industry.
After completing her pre-med requirements she earned her Masters Degree at the Traditional Acupuncture Institute in Columbia, MD. Post graduate education includes over 2500 hours in nutrition and herbs and certification as a nutritional consultant (CNC). Other certifications include Cold Laser Therapy, Homeopathy, NAET Allergy Elimination, computerized Meridian Stress Assessment (BioMeridian), Applied Kinesiology (muscle testing), Contact Reflex Analysis and Animal Acupuncture. She is currently earning her Doctor of Naturopathy degree.
The focus and style of her practice is to make a comprehensive overview of each patient’s history and seek to find and correct the underlying imbalances. “it’s like seeing the big picture by putting all the pieces of the puzzle together.""
