I love Dr. Quinn's Weight Loss Clinic! I've struggled with my weight my entire life, and Dr. Quinn's has allowed me to finally make some headway in my weight-loss goals. I had been exercising and eating well, but, to my dismay, I was still not seeing any results. I could not understand why I wasn't losing weight. I was at the point of just giving up and accepting the fact that I was going to be overweight for the rest of my life. My joints ached, I felt heavy, I had a bad back, and my pants really bit into my stomach. I was about to throw the towel in and live with it all when my husband suggested we look into seeing someone. At first, I was skeptical. I did NOT want to cut out food groups like some diets do, but Dr. Quinn allows you to eat what you want, as long as you meet your daily caloric intake, a protein goal, and a water goal. Granted, if you're looking to lose weight, then you probably shouldn't eat pizza every day. Dr. Quinn's program allows me to enjoy the foods I love, but just in moderation and with more awareness as to how it will affect my body. I've learned that the quality of food matters if I'm going to meet my body's needs. Since starting ( it's been about 3 months), I've lost 20lbs so far, and it's been such a wonderful experience. My clothes fit again, and I have so much more energy! My husband and I were both doing the program together, and he has already met his goal!
